Self- Renewal In reading the chapters on Self-Renewal, I could relate to a lot of the similarities between what Gardner discussed and my own life. I could understand his logical system in how unitary could become complacent with age. Comfort sets in and habits become the norm in adults as they age and their prevalent lives become defined. We start out as children wanting(p) to let on everything that is thrown our way and absorbing every detail that comes our way, un slight as we age we slowly drift away from wanting to gain any more knowledge than is necessary to inhabit at the level we are pith with. Self-Renewal is requires self- discovery and motivation. The voltage to self-renew must also be present. Self-Renewal also requires self-knowledge and development, but again this requires motivation to do so. These chapters relate to me in my decisions to advance my discipline in a lot of different ways. I sense that anyone who has the determination to further themselves at this level has to be highly motivated. The motivation can stem from several different areas or reason for wanting to make the decision to further education.

For whatever it is a sense of ain achievement in coiffure to display it publically and for others it is an internal desire to self-develop and embark on self-knowledge for themselves only and non for public notoriety.
