Course Description
Congratulations on becoming a particle of the AP Human geography course and community! AP Human geographics is an exciting course that uses the academic lens of Human Geography to examine the humanness around us. The course culminates with the AP Exam on May 18, 2013. All students allow for take the AP Human Geography Exam it is a course requirement.

Human Geography is the scan of where humans and their activities and institutions such as ethnic groups, cities, and industries are fixed and why they are there. Simply stated, Human Geography asks the questions where and why there. Geography effects humans daily and in both facet of their lives, from the location of the interstate they commute on, to the placement of cultivate district boundaries, or quantity and types of religious institutions in a region. By using this lens and looking at the world through this academic approach, students will gain a greater understanding of the complexity of our world and be more brisk to thrive in an inter assorted global world.

Through our disenfranchised work together, by the end of the course students will be able to

Use and think about maps and spatial data
* By engaging in this skill students will use maps and spatial data to solve problems and to analyze the information that is shown and not shown, in various maps and spatial representations.

2. Understand and get a line the implications of associations among phenomena in places
* Students will be able to identify and explain political, economic, and cultural patterns and connect those patterns to the locations they are occurring in, while analyzing why they are occurring there.
