During the mid-fifties and 60s Budweiser developed the slogan This Calls for Budweiser in order to boost their sales. iodine particular ad, created in 1962 featured four African American men socializing in a kitchen beverage Budweiser beer. It is straightforward that Anheuser-Busch were targeting black men in an effort to get them to arrive Budweiser their primary choice of beer. This ad was persuasive because it was credible, reasonable and it appealed to my emotions.

It is clear-cut that the author depends on the credibility of Budweiser beer to impart the viewers of this advertisement to purchase this product.
Secondly, the advertisement appealed to the viewers since of logos. Writers use logos to persuade our since of reason. The slogan This calls for Budweiser and the image of the men enjoying Budweiser, food and conversation befriend the audience identify with the things they might do in mistakable situations. The author wants the viewer to feel that drinking Budweiser beer in correspondent social situations is a part of life. This is idea is further enforce by the statement Where theres life….Theres Bud placed at the bottom of the ad.
