Elie is a young boy who is compressd into the ghettos with his family as he is slowly stripped of his rights. Elie and his family travel to the maiden camp in a cattle car to an inscrutable destination where he witnesses death for the first time, when they withdrew, there were ii dead bodies next to me, the father and the son. Elie is head start to realize that he is changing his view of himself and how he responds to others. Through his experiences in the concentration camps Elie is forced to become an adult.
