Throughout the past twelvemonth and a half I receive experienced and provided a wide variety of both clinical and holistic vex to women, their families and newborns at heart the acute and community settings in two trusts. at the same time I have had the opportunity to spend time in alternative units within the acute setting such as gynaecology/oncology, theatres, mental health, and intensive care. This has given me a panoptic grounding within the specialised medical care pathways and to a fault the holistic additions that can be made to even critically ill service users with the support of occupational therapists, physiotherapist and on discussion with the service users and their support network. I feel this in particular has given me an interesting insight into the importance and benefits of collaborative practise aside from medical care necessarys.
